Three traders at different levels of experience test CMC Tracker.

Trader One
CMC Tracker is a web-based trading platform. It has been designed for ease of use and trade execution for personal computers, iPads and iPhones. Because CMC Tracker is a trading platform and not dedicated trading software, this review is a little different from others I have done for YTE. Interestingly enough, though, CMC tracker offers plenty for those new to trading in terms of chart studies and indicators, with all the major indicators included.

I found the program extremely easy to use. The interface is visually appealing and clean. You can trade commodities (including gold and silver), stocks, forex and indices globally.

Trackers seem to be very much like a CFD – and CMC also offers various flexible leverage options. You can take out something called ‘fractional ownership’, which means there is no minimum order, an interesting and useful concept for those relatively new to trading, like myself, who want to try their hand with small amounts. And in terms of risk management the built-in optional default stop losses appealed to me...
