UK Mar Apr 2009
Editorial
It's almost that time of year again. No, I'm not referring to the hoards of Easter eggs that have appeared on supermarket shelves, but to those tax returns which must be submitted before 5 April – see page 16 for help deciphering whether you are classified as a trader or investor by HMRC, and what you can claim back.
Staying with the chocolate theme: cocoa is just one of the many soft commodities currently in high demand around the world; but is often overlooked for trading, in preference to others such as oil. Kevin Kerr discusses its profit potential (page 74). Still with commodities, YTE's Stephen Neale investigates the effect of Biofuel on global commodity values (page 26). With market volatility the way it has been of late, it's a good time to ask yourself how calm you feel when you are trading the markets. Do you rely on your trading plan to get you through or do you find your mood fluctuates as widely as the market? Gary Norden looks at trading psychology and lessons for mind control (page 38).
This is the final issue of YTE UK. Our global edition commences with the May/Jun 2009 issue, so you can keep up with what's happening in the UK and around the globe.
Happy reading and profitable trading.
